1. Please give utmost care while singing our national anthem and take care of the pronunciation and the rhythm.
2. It should be sung within 52 seconds as per the standard format.
3. Please wear a dress which has any of the tri colours from our National flag while singing.
4. Do not wear black or anything against or anything indicating any particular group, religion, caste, political party, country etc.,
5. Do not dress replicating any other country's flag.
6. Do not wear costumes with tag lines or messages printed on it.
7. Avoid front/selfie camera while recording your video.
8. Please stand to attention while singing the anthem.
Cautionary note
As provided in Section 3 of the Act, whoever intentionally prevents the singing of the Jana Gana Mana (National Anthem) or causes disturbances in any form (audio/images/video/usage of bad & foul language, pornography etc.,) while singing shall be punished with imprisonment for a term, which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.
